Le Comité international de paléographie [latine] a été fondé à Paris en 1953.

Pour célébrer son cinquantième anniversaire, un colloque international s'est tenu à Enghien-les-Bains, près Paris (F-95880), les vendredi et samedi 19-20 septembre 2003.

Les travaux ont été consacrés à une revue critique des études paléographiques et codicologiques au cours du dernier demi-siècle, par d'éminents spécialistes.

The Comité international de paléographie [latine] was founded in Paris in 1953.

To celebrate its 50th anniversary an international colloquium was held at Enghien-les-Bains, near Paris (F-95880), on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th September 2003.

Papers were devoted to a critical review, by distinguished experts, of palaeographical and codicological studies in the past half century.
